9月 中央文化部决定，将文溯阁藏《四库全书》调往甘肃省图书馆收藏。
同年 举办“焦裕禄事迹展览”等临时展览。
同年 由北京故宫博物院拔入织绣、银器、陈设品、武器等文物。
同年 “文化大革命”开始，为保护文物，沈阳故宫闭馆。
